CANING                                                                       
                             
SATURDAY, APRIL12, 2014 , from 9:00am to 3:00pm                     
                                                                                                                               
                               
      
Do you have a chair that you have been hoping to re-cane ? Perhaps a
family heirloom or antique store find ? If so, this class is for you. You will
learn the basics of caning on a small footstool project that is provided in
class. Each student will recieve individual attention as your work
progresses.Please bring the following to class: a one gallon basin to soak
your cane, a small towel, a small sponge, scissors, a small pair of needle
nose pliers (if you have them), and your lunch. A materials fee of $46.00 is
payable to your instructor in class.
                                                                                        
        
           INTRODUCTION TO CALLIGRAPHY

     You are invited to come to class to learn the basics of
Calligraphy focusing on Roman Italic.This is the style of
Calligraphy most recognized for invitations, place cards,
greeting cards and many other hand written items. We will
focus on the nib and nibholder method, while learning to
control the ink and assisting you to bring out your own
creativity. In every class, we are told that Calligraphy is an
art that each student has wanted to learn for years.             
 Let this be your year.                                                           
       A materials list will be mailed to you when you

DESIGN AND GROW AN HERB GARDEN             
                                                                                             
      Monday, May 5, 2014 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm               
                                                                                             
      Spend an evening learning to design and grow an Herb
Garden that you will enjoy for years to come. Seed
germination and plant selection, soil prep, site location
and container growing are just a few of the many subjects
that will be discussed. You will learn to identify herbs that
are native to our area and their common uses through the
ages. of blending your own Herbs into a memorable and aromatic tea.
You will have the opportunity to blend two delightful teas in

 Learn to create Herbal products based on your personal skin
type and preference to scents. This fun class will help to make you
